Speakers: Dr Eugene Newman, SUNY at Utica/Rome and Mr. David Climek, MITRE Corporation, Rome, NY "Survey of Public Safety Providers Wireless Communication Needs" January 18, 1999

This survey researched the interoperability problems and desired solutions for public safety (fire, police, medical, etc.) providers in order to execute their vital services. Many of their needs are very similar to those of the military sector for communications compatibility.
