The presentation explained the technology developments that are placing multiple energy domains (mechanical, chemical, electrical, etc.) on a single silicon chip. These innovative designs are leveraging off of the commercial chip production capability to produce inexpensive innovative solutions. Satellite cellular phones combined with global positioning and self contained power will be implemented in a package the size of a deck of cards.
