Guest Speaker: Mr. Emlyn Griffith, Attorney and Regent Emeritus of the New York State Board of Regents "Pro Bono Services Provided By Attorneys In Oneida County" October 19, 1999

The AFCEA October luncheon was held as a combined event with the National Contract Management Association. Emlyn Griffith, attorney and Regent Emeritus of the New York State Board of Regents, the governing body of higher education in New York State. Mr.Griffith's presentation was entitled: Pro Bono Services provided by attorneys in Oneida County, NY. In addition to the thousands of hours of legal services provided, Mr. Griffith also detailed how an educational initiative that he started in Oneida County has become a statewide activity to introduce students in high school to the judiciary system This program is staffed by lawyers and judges
