"Information and Sensors Directorate Overviews" Guest Speaker: Mr. Raymond P. Urtz April 5, 2001.

The AFCEA monthly luncheon for April 2001 featured a presentation by Mr Raymond Urtz, Director, Information Directorate, Air Force Research Laboratory. Mr Urtz gave an overview of the state of the directorate, listing significant contributions made to the operational Air Force by technology developed by the Information Directorate research staff. Highlights included the transition of the Joint Targeting Toolkit and Joint Defensive Planner products. Mr Urtz also updated the luncheon attendees on the progress of the $50M new building being constructed to unify the laboratory facilities of the Information Directorate at the Rome Research Site.
